Group Leader |
This is the Scouts Australia trained leader and is the manager for the group. Their role is to support the Section Leaders and the Group Committee |
Group Executive Committee |
The executive is drawn from the Group Committee. It includes 3 mandated roles of Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer. |
Group Council |
Meeting of all leaders of the group. It allows all the Sections to plan their activities and training. |
Group Committee |
Group of parents and community members who maintains all the resources (human & physical) for the group to operate. All parents are automatically members of the Group Committee and are encouraged to participate. |
Group |
Scout Group consisting of 1 or more Youth Sections, has it’s own Committee and is run by the Group Leader |

District |
A district is an area which contains around 5 Groups, Far North Region currently does not operate Districts and all Groups are directly under the Region |
